Amalie Quilted SILK Vest is a feminine quilted silk vest with pockets at front. The vest is made with wooden buttons and small button loops at the placket. All seams inside have been covered with crepe silk tapes, and the vest is lined with 100% organic cotton.

This unique item is made from a beautiful upcycled silk sari handpicked by SISSEL EDELBO. The sari has been worn by an Indian woman, which means that smaller imperfections, such as small stains and loose threads, will occur. However, to us these imperfections are the garment’s unique beauty flaws. They reflect the life and the love that the previous owner has added to the fabric. Each garment is one of a kind, and as part of its charm, you may notice differences in the prints and colors between the front and back of the piece.
